And the first part is here.

heart-in-a-boxyou lock your heart in a metal box and throw away the key stand on the peak of a mountain and hurl your heart-in-a-box away empty at last the scenery fails to overwhelm you the faeries flee your listless eyes then the wanderlust leaves you and the harmonies don't play in your head when at last you've climbed to the top of the lighthouse - safe at last the weather lightens up and the sun breaks but you bar the windows preparing to hibernate during the long and violent storm that will never come the scenery fails to overwhelm you becauseheart-in-a-box

wandering mindsleep so erratic not even black coffee can wake you yet the clouds of your mind are never white and your music is never soft maybe, relaxation is impossible for you, a wandering mind doomed to succumb to the wanderlust of your forefathers praying to their devious gods and practicing their natural magics shield yourself from the new world left your beliefs be lost forever to the windswandering mind

ending roadthe clouds blanched from their embarresment at the sky's nakedness stretch over the horizon trying to hide it from our view the road laid bare before us running from our rubber wheels and deadly car exhaustfumes that will one day turn the sky black the water placid, yet volatile gulping up all around us swallowing the journey's path death, murder, violence, drowning the road ends yet the horizon remains the stage for other journeys but ours is here on this ending ending ending ending roadending road

skunkwe cringe when the skunk pulls the trigger for his defensive mechanism beginning to saturate the air becoming a burning stench vile like refuse shot up to the sky to drive us away yet it stays with us clinging to our clothes like the fingers of a rotting corpse grasping, refusing to let go until violently scrubbed from us with tomato juice or soap and water whichever weapon you prefer to use to cut the clutching appendages off and rinse them down the drainskunk
clean at last
